NWYS Emergency Housing
Northwest Youth Services has emergency housing for minors in Bellingham, WA.
The PAD (Positive Adolescent Development) is an emergency housing program in Bellingham that offers housing for youth between 13 – 17 years old. No application is required. Staff are
on-site and available 24 hours a day to support any youth in crisis.

Compass Health
Crisis Triage is a “step down” from voluntary inpatient mental health care, and can allow you to “take a break” from the intense stress you are experiencing, enough to get support and make a plan.
Compass Health provides two Crisis Triage facilities — one located at the Bailey Center in Everett and one in Bellingham, WA. Both Triage programs utilize a recovery model to assist those in behavioral health crisis to access services and supports and resume typical levels of functioning. Multi-disciplinary teams of Peer Counselors, Mental Health Technicians, Clinicians, Nurses, and Psychiatric providers work together to address their needs.

Depression is treatable. Suicide is preventable
Our focus is suicide intervention, prevention, awareness, and education.
We provide help and hope through online crisis chat, educational on-campus and virtual college events, and awareness campaigns.

ImHurting Crisis Chat
ImHurting Crisis Chat is a portal to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline services offered through Volunteers of America Western Washington in the North Puget Sound and Salish regions. Visitors can use the Internet Chat, the SMS text (988) service, or call 988 to speak with a trained Crisis Counselor.
Our mission is to help people by providing online emotional support during times of crisis. Everyone is welcome to talk about what’s causing them to feel pain. Our Crisis Counselors will listen to you without judgment and help you feel cared about and safe.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States.
